Savicell expanded its international patent portfolio with European Patent No. 3673267 and Canadian Patent No. 3,073,254.
Savicell received U.S. continuation Patent No. 12,306,188 and Israel Patent No. 272810, further strengthening the company’s intellectual-property portfolio.
Previously granted patents include U.S. No. 11,619,634; Japan No. 7356412; Mexico No. 418741; Australia No. 2018320264; and Korea No. 10-2735890.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office issued a Notice of Allowance for Savicell’s continuation patent application, “Methods of Diagnosing and Treating Lung Cancer.” The continuation builds on U.S. Patent No. 11,619,634 B2 and expands IP protection around lung-cancer diagnostics and liquid biopsy.
The Mexican Divisional Directorate of Patents issued a Notice of Allowance for “Methods of Diagnosing and Treating Lung Cancer.”
The Korean Intellectual Property Office issued a Notice of Allowance for “Methods of Diagnosing and Treating Lung Cancer.”
The Australian Patent Office issued a Notice of Acceptance for “Methods of Diagnosing and Treating Lung Cancer.”
Prof. Aaron Ciechanover, Distinguished Research Professor at the Technion and the 2004 Nobel laureate in Chemistry, joined Savicell’s Advisory Board. His scientific career includes foundational work on ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation and leadership roles across major Technion research centers.
A case report describing Liquid ImmunoBiopsy-based detection of early-stage lung cancer in a volunteer recruited as a healthy donor was published in the Open Journal of Clinical & Medical Case Reports.

The Brazilian Patent Office allowed Savicell’s patent covering methods for measuring cell metabolic activity, diagnosing disease associated with modified metabolic activity, optimizing and monitoring treatment, and identifying agents capable of altering cellular metabolic activity.
